Matthew Evans winds down

We know that we've been slow to post over the last while (new job combined with too much Christmas revelry is to blame) but we couldn't let news this big slip by....

SMH critic Matthew Evans announced that "after five years, 2000 restaurants and roughly 5000 hours spent in the rarefied and sometimes surreal world of eateries" he is putting down the cutlery.

He leaves us with some interesting final perspectives.

We for two will miss his poignant and fair reviews.
